Osteopathy

Supporting with empathy and evidence

Looking for osteopathy in Flinders? Whether you're dealing with back pain, a sports injury or something that's been niggling for months – we use hands-on treatment to help you recover and move well again.

What is Osteopathy?

If you've got back pain, a sports injury, stiff neck, or other aches and pains affecting your movement, that's where osteopathy comes in. It's hands-on treatment that looks at your whole body to figure out what's causing the problem.

Osteopathy is a government-regulated health profession in Australia. Osteopaths complete a minimum 5-year university degree and are registered with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency), just like physiotherapists, doctors, and other allied health professionals.

What does an Osteopath Do?

We conduct thorough assessments, provide diagnosis within our scope of practice, and use evidence-based hands-on techniques – massage, stretching, joint mobilization, manipulation – to help you feel better. We follow clinical guidelines where available and provide tailored exercise programs and self-management strategies.

Osteopaths work as part of your healthcare team, collaborating with GPs, physiotherapists, and specialists. We can provide referrals for imaging, pathology, or specialist review when clinically indicated.

What To Expect:

We'll take time to understand your complaint, health background, and lifestyle so we can create a treatment plan tailored specifically to you.

We find out what has worked in the past, what your goals are and what you are wanting from your appointments.

What makes our Osteos' different

Brooke and Catalina bring experiences across a range of healthcare settings beyond private practice. Catalina  also works within Peninsula Pilates Studio and Brooke is a Supervising Clinician at Victoria University.

We both have assisted people with highly complex co-morbidities, following significant injuries, recovering from surgery and have worked alongside some highly skilled nurses, care workers, physios (like Fiona), OTs and everyone in-between.

We have been there as someone learns to walk after long periods of bedrest and have seen the impacts of progressive conditions.

This experience fosters a deep respect for each patient's journey to kelp people return to movement, build confidence and their quality of life.

We work towards your needs

Your time and comfort matter to us. We use efficient systems - including a detailed new patient form - so we can prepare for your visit and understand your health history before you arrive. This helps us tailor the space, adapt to your needs, and ensure you feel supported from the moment you arrive.

We also value what you are looking for in a practitioner - empathy, accountability, or simply honest guidance. Our care is focused on you.

More than just manual therapy

We value the role of skilled manual therapy in recovery and movement - it remains an important part of what we do. We also recognize that care often extends beyond hands-on treatment. For some people that means exercise guidance and a tailored program, ergonomic supports or strategies for mobility and balance. We both continue professional development in both our hands on and condition management so we can provide true holistic care and support.
