Headaches and Jaw (TMJ) Pain
Headaches and jaw pain are common concerns that may arise from irritation in the neck, jaw joints, surrounding muscles or nerves. Because the jaw (TMJ) and upper neck share close biomechanical and neurological connections, issues in one area can often influence the other. Osteopathic assessment considers the interaction between the jaw, neck, posture and surrounding soft tissues to identify potential contributing factors.
